WA Library Supplies

Since 1976 WA Library Supplies have been a key supplier for schools and libraries in Perth, across WA, and Australia. They sell everything from day-to-day stationery products, to book covering materials, to large furniture items. Our job was to take the existing website and simplify the online sales and quoting systems, all wrapped up in a new modern design.

A key feature of the website is the product category navigation system. Simple thumbnails allow customers to quickly and easily browse the product range. Favourable reports suggest that this has greatly improved the user experience when navigating a vast product catalogue.

With a lot of moving parts we aimed to reduce the complexity by replacing most plugins with simpler, custom code. This has massively improved the performance of the website, and importantly, reduced the amount of handling required in processing orders and quotes.

The web design needed to be professional and suitable to both government and library users. The clean design has splashes of colour with the clean display of all products. Another website we are truly proud to have built.
